Join the outstanding musicians of Standing Wave - as well as several Dance Centre members - for Dance : Music, curated by accomplished composer Arne Eigenfeldt. This will be an exciting and diverse programme of music for dance, featuring Eigenfeldt’s Les Yeux Fermes with a remount of Serge Bennathan’s choreography for dancer Katherine Labelle. The evening will journey to John Cage’s Bacchanale with new choreography and performance by Rob Kitsos and to re-orchestration/arrangement of dance music of the 1950’s by composer Cam Wilson, as well as that of the Renaissance by composer Rodney Sharman. The programme culminates with the premiere of Eigenfeldt’s new work, The Title of Your Book for Standing Wave and two dancers. Tickets available at www.ticketstonight.com
