Here To Go brings to the stage innovative, thoughtful and dynamic collaborations by twelve passionate and engaging dance artists.

Here To Go began at The Beaumont Stage in January 2009. It launched a new vision for a community of dance artists, joining forces to foster an ongoing performance opportunity for emerging choreographers. The inaugural performance was initiated by a group of nine dance artists who after years of studying, creating and performing together wished to create a platform for their artistic development. The Second Edition sees this community expand to a group of twelve.
Come join the movement!

SLAM2 review in Globe & Mail

July 27th, 2009 by Jane

The Contingency Plan Globe and Mail Review“Former Torontonian and current Vancouverite Serge Bennathan’s Slam2 is his take on the biblical Prodigal Son. Vanessa Goodman, Jane Osborne and Leigha Wald each take turns narrating the story into a dangling microphone on an empty stage. To [Bertrand Chénier]’s menacing soundscape, the three dancers execute Bennathan’s bruising trademark athleticism. It is a maelstrom of emotions and these young dancers look very strong in the telling.”

PAULA CITRON, The Globe and Mail, July 18/09
